Q: How do I pay for the classes?
A: After your child attends their free taster sessions and you confirm which classes they would like to attend moving forward, we send you a pro-rata invoice for the remaining weeks of that current term. This balance can then be paid as a one off fee, or we offer a monthly payment service for no additional charge. We issue new invoices each term so you’re not tied into any long term contracts.
Q: Who teaches the classes?
A: We currently have 2 great teachers. Megan is our school principal and teaches on Mondays at Denbury, Tuesdays & Wednesdays at Glendinning and Saturdays at Buckland, you can usually also find her teaching private lessons & workshops on Fridays & Sundays- definitely a danceaholic :-). Charlotte is our teacher who has been with us for a couple of years now, she teaches on Mondays at Glendinning and Saturdays at Buckland, she’s awesome and the kids love her! Both teachers are highly qualified & first aid trained. Learn more about them here.
Q: What progression opportunities are there?
A: We hold regular (optional) exam sessions so the kids have something to work towards should they wish to. We also aim to hold a school performance/show at a local theatre every 12 to 18 months, as well as smaller local performances at various venues during the summer. A combination of the above provides the kids with ample things to be working towards and helps with energy & focus during the classes. Learn more about exams here.
Q: What do the kids wear to classes?
A: This varies a little depending on which class it is, as some classes do have a specific uniform that is required for the class. Specific uniforms are not required for taster sessions, we just recommend wearing something comfortable for these and then uniform information can be provided after the taster session is complete.
Q: How do I get my child involved?
A: Simply take a look at our timetable and let us know which classes you think they’ll enjoy, we’ll then book them in for FREE taster sessions so they can give them a go. If you’re not sure which classes they’ll enjoy, please pop us a message for a chat and we can give you some more information and advise accordingly. Contact us here.
